My Kite Runner essay, to me, is what fully represents my true style of writing. This essay is when I perfected all of the writing errors that I had in previous essays and mastered them throughout this specific one. All of my previous styles contributed to this one final piece and it made for a great essay in my mind. I tried to focus on not overly analyzing the quotes in this essay and I maintained a simple yet informative analysis for each quote. As my last essay in my senior english class, i'm very proud of the way it turned out and all of the minor insufficiencies that I improved on.
This essay is probably the only one that I have ever written that made me feel emotionally attached to the novel that it was about. The rape that Hassan suffered from and all the hardships that Amir went through to make it right made me sympathetic for both characters in the novel. For some reason, the plot in the story made me think about the suffering that people around the world go for and the struggles they are willing to go through to make up for their wrongdoings. This essay proved to me that it is going to get worse before it gets better and Amirs journey to redemption proved that. For me to read such a novel that truly embodied the disturbing happenings in countries around the world made me realize that my essay should truly discuss the negatives that happen in these places and I felt my essay should elaborate on such things.
